"EVERYTHING MUST BREAK" by Ryan Pollard

In the doldrums of a lonely hour,
I cracked my face right on the floor.
As rain pours down in this stolid town,
My head spins frantically around,
Trying to figure what to give and take,
In this world where everything must break.

I woke up gently in a pool of blood,
Thought of the first time I kissed a girl,
How it didn't even matter to me now.
Left myself for dead on desolate wood,
Nothing else mattered in the world,
Where everything shattered all around.

Words dripped from bloody lips,
Never wash away every new day.
When there's nothing to give or take,
Everything must break.

"MR. STANLEY FROM MOSTON" by Ryan Pollard

On lonesome streets which host the darkest of thoughts,
She lumbers straight through puddles and parking lots,
Her stabbing stilettos echo through the alleys.
Hateful hearts refuse to part ways,
With her lover locked in Strangeways.

Mr. Stanley kissed her sharply,
The smooth precision of a knife.
She always got off quickly,
And that was her life.
The gap-toothed girl in Moston,
Hurled in a grave forever lost in.

The locked lover in Strangeways knew,
He had nothing to come back to.
However, it was never too late,
For Mr. Stanley would wait.

"CHLOE FLANAGAN" by Ryan Pollard

She steps out of her terrace,
She has no mind or place.
Nobody believes her,
Nobody ever sees her,
Nobody hears her call.

She has no place to go,
Or any friends to see.
Just a man at home,
Drinking Stella by three.
She's drinking tea alone.

She feels she's losing it,
She's all out of tears.
She's had enough of it,
She pushed him down the stairs.

She grabbed the electric razor,
Shaved off her ginger hair.
Got herself out of Crewe,
Got some nice tattoos,
Grew a red mohawk too.

Now she's a cage fighter,
Her piercings so silver,
Gleaming off headlights,
After those brutal fights.
She's hand-in-hand with her,
But it's not what you think.
They have the same man,
Whips and gags in plan.
